enchanting dining areas

Hey Tulsans! When was the last time you went to Casa Bonita? Damn, I forgot all about the place until I saw this bOINGbOING post. A quick Google brought up this article, which suggests it cost almost $4 million in 1971 to build the castle of queso. Damn, I wanna go the next time I'm in T-Town; I wonder why we never rolled one and dined there while I was in college.

neat goomed sugar land

These smug, judgemental suburbanites make me sick. Britton Stein says of liberals and leftists, "They don't give Bush the respect he deserves. Not only because he's president, but because he's a helluva good man." Um, Bush is such a good man that he attacks Kerry's war record, but dodges releasing his own military records? He's such a good man he misrepresents data in order to go war? Such a good man he wants to cut overtime protections for low-wage workers like firefighters and nurses?

bopped me in his left

Despite the rumors about Rick Perry and the sinister machinations of Tom Delay, it appears Texas doesn't have a monopoly on creepy-wacky politics.

no fun

I'm having yucky server problems and the ol' infobong has been up and down since the weekend. I haven't been able to access my email either. I have no idea if this willl keep happening, but I use a bargain-basement ISP, so I guess I can't complain.

blood makes the grass

Today on the 21 bus home, I spied a big, maroon bus parked in front of the Day's Inn by my place. It had "Trojans" written in white, and I thought, "No, it couldn't be," but as the 21 went past, the front of the bus read "Jenks Schools Activity Bus." It was a bus groups from my alma mater Jenks High School take on long trips. I thought to myself, "What could they possibly be driving down from Tulsa for?" Then I thought to myself, "Hey maybe you should blog this. You haven't blogged in a while. But then again, this is the kind of stuff you think to blog, but never get around to typing up."
