Today I learned through the Austin bike listserv that guided Segway tours of Austin are now available. The tours cost $65 and guarantee that you will look goofy.
HA! i spotted one of these goobers on the crowded avenue of this weeks 6th street holiday fest of crappy gifts and delicious fried foods. a crowded street full of peds is no place for a segway.
i should also add that i walk past the rental office several times a week on the way to work. never once seen a body in there, just lots of lonely segways.
