I'm not sure what do with this blog anymore. I'm not as interested in the things that I blogged about when I started this blog. it seems the blog lost steam as soon as I switched the blog from the UT ACTlab server to private hosting and the Infobong.com domain. I don't really have any vision of what I want to do with this project now, but I certainly don't feel like I have the same energy for blogging as I once did.
With that out of the way, I read the news a lot and the news scares the crap out of me. I just want to want to think about it, let alone blog about it. Ugggh.
It is certainly not lame. You told me about No Pants Day! Just blog when you feel like it.
Posted by: edith at May 18, 2004 12:11 AMWhat Edith said. My one promise to myself when I started my blog was, no promises to myself. I have enough things to feel guilty about in my life and don't need to add my blog to the list. And, counterintuitively, the fact that I'm not obligated to blog makes me want to blog more.
I'm playing around with starting a work blog (release 0.1beta is either here or here, depending on what platform my employer ends up supporting). That feels pretty different because I'm inclined to take my work blog more seriously. Except that again, maybe, there could be a paradox at work: if I'm timid and only post carefully researched information about which I'm 100% sure, the blog's value to me and my co-workers may actually be less than if I throw caution to the winds and use the blog to explore things I *don't* know that much about.

Posted by: lynne at May 22, 2004 12:03 AMWell, if you're still using Blogspot, your blog is lame. :)
