The Washington Post reviews the latest issue of Modern Drunkard magazine, devoted to irreverent discussions of the tippling life. It includes a review of 40 oz. malt liquor, something I could have used in my undergraduate days of Bull Ice. Here's an excerpt on the lost art of staggering:

"Warm up by weaving, bobbing, swaying. Once you're in the groove, try a pitch and add some yawing. Then get a bit drunker . . . and move on to a full-tilt reel and finally the Grand Stagger. Let the booze guide you, you are a ship, alcohol is your sail and the whole damn world is your sea."

People drink alcohol when they got the guts to do it. Some people think it's like water. It's hella bitter. Well... Unless you get used it.
